Found my frame was cracked on my bed edger. Pulled the guard off and then found the curb rotor was broken on the long edge. Has anyone welded these successfully? Not sure what type of steel it is.

Hey buddy,
I hope you got this small issue taken care of. My recommendation would be to purchase a new rotor or take to a fab shop and have one of those boys look at it for you. Either way it needs to be fixed or replaced.

I did Jimmie. I probably could have welded it back together but the last 10 years or so have worn it down pretty well. I ordered a new one, installed it and its cutting like butter.
