Curbing circles around the competition
We know there are other curbing machines on the market, but our award-winning Lil’ Bubba EP Curb Machine is truly a product without equal. By using the most advanced drive mechanism, the most powerful engines, the best materials and doing our machining and assembling in-house, we at The Concrete Edge are proud to offer you the best decorative curb machine you'll find anywhere.
The most advanced drive mechanism
Lil’ Bubba plunger-style curb machines use our patented drive mechanism to curb circles around the competition. Traditional plunger- or ram-style curb machines move the plunger back and forth to extrude curbs, which can create excessive wear on the machine, weak areas in the produced curb, and binding or bridging in the hopper.
By using the most advanced drive mechanism in the market (the Extreme Plunger), our curb machines eliminate all of these common problems. The unique motion extends up into the hopper, down, forward and back to produce a continuous form of concrete without flat spots, binding or bridging. Our Extreme Plunger is powerful and versatile enough to install a 24" walkway with just a quick mold change, while competing products require more substantial overhauls to produce similar walkways.
Commercial Honda gasoline engines
Our EP curb machines come stock with the largest gas engines in-class, from 4 to 5.5 horsepower depending on the model. They're the most reliable and durable power plants available.
Lil’ Bubba insists on gas engines because nothing else can offer the mobility and power needed to extrude concrete curbs—electric motors just can't cut it. Power cords get in the way, damage fresh curb, and decrease power as the cord gets longer—assuming there is even an outlet near the work sites (say goodbye to working on golf courses, city parks and new construction).
Highly customizable, high quality curbs
Because of its uncompromising engine power and advanced drive mechanism, Lil’ Bubba curb machines produce high quality, long-lasting decorative curbs with unrivaled speed and efficiency. Because decorative edging isn't a one-size-fits-all job, our system allows for a great deal of variety in the end product. With dozens of profiles, colors, stamps and impressions available, there are countless curb styles the Lil’ Bubba can help you produce—and if you need a mold unlike any that we sell, we can build one custom to your specifications.
Manufactured in the US
Many of our competitors sub-contract their equipment and parts to local fabricators, creating the opportunity for quality control issues. We don't. Our Lil’ Bubba curb machines are proudly manufactured in company-owned facilities in Orlando, Florida. Parts are cut, bent, welded, punched, drilled, sanded, painted and assembled in-house to maximize quality and customization. By carefully overseeing the manufacturing process, we can make innovative modifications and adjustments to existing products to meet special business requirements—without voiding your warranty.
Decades of experience and knowledge
The Lil’ Bubba curb machines have been on the market since 1992, and over the years they have become the heart of many successful concrete curbing business ventures. We believe in our products so much that many of our employees are running or have run extremely profitable decorative curbing businesses. This gives them invaluable hands-on experience with the technical and operational sides of running curbing businesses, and they're available to share it with any current or prospective Lil’ Bubba owner. Our collective knowledge is just a phone call away, available in English or Spanish. For those who have more extensive educational needs, we offer training courses at our Orlando facility.
